David Angeloff, Esq.

David Angeloff is a dedicated trial lawyer who practices in all areas of civil litigation, including personal injury, employment law, and legal malpractice.

David is known for his unwavering commitment to his clients, blending professionalism with relentless advocacy. David has helped over a thousand individuals and families secure justice through the legal system and recovered tens of millions of dollars on their behalf. Born and raised in Southern California, David graduated from UC Santa Barbara and earned his law degree from the University of San Diego. During law school, David was a two-year member of the US national mock trial team and earned several CALI awards for top-in-class grades, graduating in the top 10% of his class with honors, including Cum Laude and Order of the Coif.

David is admitted to practice before all California State Courts, as well as the Central, Southern, Eastern, and Northern United States District Courts. He is also licensed and admitted to practice in Washington, D.C., New York state, and Washington state.

$6.75 million: Secured for the families of three young men killed by an unstable roommate matched by their landlord.
$1.8 million: Secured for the family of a boy who died after consuming a poorly labeled food product.
$1.1 million: Settlement of a premises liability matter involving a broken leg suffered in a slip-and-fall at a big box retailer.
$1.06 million: Settlement of a legal malpractice claim against the lawyers for an HOA president accused of corruption and self dealing.
$1 million: Awarded following a six-day bench trial, including punitive damages, for two hotel housekeepers who were sexually harassed by their supervisor (Lopez, et al. v. Brighton Management LLC, et al., Los Angeles Superior Court Case No. 19STCV14229).
$1 million: Settlement secured for a Washington State teenager who suffered a minor skull fracture in an auto v. pedestrian collision.
$1 million: Awarded to an in-home nursing care company whose attorneys committed malpractice.
$700,000: Secured on behalf of employees of a high-end restaurant chain in a representative action under California’s Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) arising from wage-and-hour violations.

$500,000: Settlement for an exchange student who suffered a non-surgical pelvic injury in an auto crash.

David believes in supporting the legal community both locally and globally through volunteering. He is currently a member of the California State Bar Commission on Judicial Nominees Evaluation (JNE) and is a former guest lecturer at the University of San Diego School of Law on employment discrimination under the Fair Employment and Housing Act.

David also volunteers as a Fee Arbitrator for the Los Angeles County Bar Association and is a former board member for the SoLa food co-op and a former volunteer with the Domestic Violence Project. Abroad, David has done volunteer wildlife conservation work through Lawyers Without Borders and is a member of the Union Internationale des Avocats(UIA), an international legal organization dedicated to promoting the rule of law.

In his spare time, David loves to travel with his family, do yoga, and is a voracious reader.
